A little clarity on the Clinton years - for the sake of a commentor

During the Clinton years as posted on the ustreasury.gov Website (a website that tracks the US Treasury):

Fiscal
Year
Year
Ending
National DebtDeficit
FY1993 09/30/1993 $4.411488 trillion
FY1994 09/30/1994 $4.692749 trillion $281.26 billion
FY1995 09/29/1995 $4.973982 trillion $281.23 billion
FY1996 09/30/1996 $5.224810 trillion $250.83 billion
FY1997 09/30/1997 $5.413146 trillion $188.34 billion
FY1998 09/30/1998 $5.526193 trillion $113.05 billion
FY1999 09/30/1999 $5.656270 trillion $130.08 billion
FY2000 09/29/2000 $5.674178 trillion $17.91 billion
FY2001 09/28/2001 $5.807463 trillion $133.29 billion

Hmmm, looks like a debt not a surplus, and the Feds said Enron and others cooked the books and ultimately screwed their employees. The only unfortunate thing about this is the the "Federal Govt" cannot go out of business, but continues to screw the public every single day... The current tragedy: the brainwashed people thinking that "one person - the president" can solve any single one of their problems. Take care of yourself. Joke.

Just a reminder, I believe that federal govt needs to shrink no matter who is in charge. The current theme of federal government is change, expand, rescue, save.

I don't need to be saved, I don't want someone to CHANGE things for me, I am going to continue to do what I want to do when I want to do it. Including spending my money on what I want to spend it on, or not having a job and living on the street.

All I want from the Federal Govt is security, a protected land based on justice: the law.

Christ - most don't even talk to their neighbors anymore and at the same time believe we can "All come together for change"... What a joke.

Spread the wealth baby - first wave of "Unfullfilled Promises"

Don't get me wrong - I know it happens on both sides - Just keeping my eyes open for "Change".

"Obama campaign workers angry over unpaid wages"

--heard of sheep?

Congratulations Barack - I hope you are smarter than they think you are.

The only wealth the Federal Government is to spread around is "Freedom and Liberty".

How the country became split nearly 50/50 down the middle is a grand assault on the previous statement.

The campaign strategy this cycle was Change now synonymous with - "I will provide for you".

cycle: any complete round or series of occurrences that repeats or is repeated.

A sample guide to self reliance:

How much of my health care/Insurance/Contribution to a Health Savings Plan can I make on my own if I: Cancel my DSL subscription, cancel my cell phone subscription, stop buying coffee at the drive-thru coffee kiosk, stop eating out, stop going to the movies, don't go on that vacation, organize my driving better, quit buying make-up & hair products, razor blades, stop consuming bottled water, cancel my membership to the gym, etc., your list goes on, I know!

Better yet: Get a second job, work more hours, start my own business, collect and recycle aluminum cans...

Well?

Critcal Thinking vs. Thinking Critical

Which method do you use while expressing your point of view or is it YOUR point of view?

Critical Thinking - the mental process of actively and skillfully conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and evaluating information to reach an answer or conclusion.

Thinking - thought; judgment, reflection

Critical -
1. inclined to find fault or to judge with severity, often too readily.
2. occupied with or skilled in criticism.
3. involving skillful judgment as to truth, merit, etc.; judicial: a critical analysis.
4. of or pertaining to critics or criticism

Let's test it. While we have the dictionary out let us take a look at the most popular word used during these two campaigns: CHANGE.

Change - to make the form, nature, content, future course, etc., of (something) different from what it is or from what it would be if left alone.

Stay the course now, almost done: Democrats become the majority in Congress during the last election via a platform of change (e.g. get out of Iraq, etc). Hmmm... No change so far, and these are the folks charged, legally with the power to DEFUND the war - remember the constitution grants the power of the purse/cash to congress, right. Hmmm.

So to clear up the vocabulary problem our astute, fearless and snake charmer like candidates have caused during this election cycle I offer a correction: what they really mean to say is "Expand".

Expand - to increase in extent, size, volume, scope, etc.

It is okay to say EXPAND, because expansion of the Federal Government is clearly the plan of both sides. It is NEVER okay to lie. You may not use the word "CHANGE" to illustrate the difference between things that are exactly the same: EXPANSION.

No on PROP 8 is YES to FREEDOM

Enough said. Freedom folks, what happened to it? Why legislate each other on moral issues? Much like the ominousness found in the reproductive debate, both (same sex marriage and abortion) should be left to the decision of the individuals involved, in their own home, during the privacy of their own life.

Besides, gays and lesbians should have every right to be as miserable as straight married couples, right!

NO ON 8, YES ON FREEDOM!

The aroma of hypnosis stinks!

A quick reminder before the election:

Liberty - freedom from arbitrary or despotic government or control.

Self-reliance: Reliance on oneself of one's powers, resources, etc.

Freedom: 5. personal liberty, as opposed to bondage or slavery

Charity: generous actions or donations to aid the poor, ill, or helpless

States rights: the rights belonging to the various states, esp. with reference to the strict interpretation of the Constitution, by which all rights not delegated by the Constitution to the federal government belong to the states. <- not your beloved candidates!

You have no idea to whom I will cast my vote... There are several articles and links to review prior to the election, but I believe that Sarah, Joe, Barack and John and anyone planning to vote for either side of this dung pile review the following sections of the constitution: Hell, it only takes 10 minutes to read the entire thing... Check it out, a quick review for some of you, a first time for many of you... I assume many have never even briefed themselves on The Constitution... I mean, ah, given the ensuing mass hypnosis onset by the illegal posturing and promises offered by both sides.

If you don't have time for the whole thing just check out these two to help equip you for the election:

Go to Article 1 right down to section 8 (Article I/Section 8) and review that the Legislature (aka Congress) has the "Power of the purse".... Not the president. Just a reminder.

Go ahead and burn the next 30 seconds of your life reading Article II of the US Constitution: The Executive Branch. The Executive Branch "President" is the position that Barack and John are competing for... See if the duties as described by the candidates and your aspirations for your candidate match up. The candidates have overreached the power of the exec branch in their promises. Read it!

I am sure that it is quite obvious to you now that neither side of the dung pile represent what they will be sworn to defend.

A very sad time for freedom and liberty. As history has show: "Revolution is eminent".

Good luck on Tuesday and in either case "May you help yourself and your neighbor, or if that is too much for you may god, satan, chi, buddha, rah, the dirt, a rock, jah, etc., or plain old nothin', help you, because theses two moronic duos and the Federal Govt can't, and by law should not!"
