Dude, I'm not sure this qualifies as a "first wave" of anything. Sounds more like a small malfunction/anomaly in an efficiently run political campaign machine that became a "Fortune 500" dynamo in a matter of months....

Barack Obama and his brilliant campaign manager, David Axelrod, created a Presidential campaign machine that will be studied for years to come. Axelrod is the "Karl Rove" of the democratic party.... So eat your heart out!

But keep your "detective work" and knock yourself out tracking "unfulfilled promises." You're providing a very critical service here ;-) Ha!

Perhaps you should track the unfulfilled promises, government waste and largess, and death and wounding of American soldiers under the Bush Administration instead? Now there is something that could keep you occupied for years to come...

Sorry, I'm getting rather annoyed with dumbass white folk ripping on a brilliant black man who deserves to be respected. When was the last time YOU were head of the Harvard Law Review? Michelle Obama is also a graduate of Harvard, and was making about $300,000 a year working in upper management at either a large hospital in Chicago, or at the University of Chicago (sorry, can't remember the details).

P.S. I am not calling you a dumb ass. I'm calling the dumb ass who we both heard last night mouthing off about Obama...

Speaking of "Unfulfilled Promises of the Bush Administration," shall we attempt to ignore that the monkey in the White House has overseen the largest downturn in the American economy since the Great Depression?????

OOps, I forgot to add the link to the new jobless rate:

"The unemployment rate climbed to 6.5 percent, the highest level since 1994 and up from 6.1 percent the month before."

In my humble opinion, you're mad at the wrong guy... and you're being brainwashed by that stupid right-wing radio nonsense you're listening to.
